Analysis and Best Bet
The Chicago Bulls are on the heels of a great win against Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets, 115-107. Yea, I wasn’t expecting that either, but the Bulls did not take their foot of the pedal and managed to hold onto their lead. We saw the real potential of the LaVine-Vooch duo and it was beautiful. LaVine finished with 25 points and five assists. Additionally, Vooch scored 22 points and added 13 rebounds. He had a double-double in the first half. Tomas Satoransky had his best game of the season, scoring 19 points and dishing out 11 assists. His play changed the game.
Coby White is probable to return tonight after missing the Brooklyn game with a neck injury. Garrett Temple will sit out with a hamstring injury. Moreover, Daniel Theis did not travel with the team to Indy. The Pacers are dealing with a flurry of injuries to their stars as Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, and Jeremy Lamb are all questionable. T.J. Warren was lost for the season back in March. It will be interesting to see which one of the Pacers stars suit up tonight, if any.
If the Bulls can play the way they did on Sunday, they can be a very good team. The addition of White tonight will be another boost. Indiana is dealing with too many injuries, but have gone 5-5 in their last 10 games. The season series is tied at one. Additionally, this game has pretty big implications as Chicago sits in 10th while Indy is 9th in the east standings. Chicago needs to string more wins together after losing six straight. With Indy’s question marks on their stars and Chicago’s momentum, I’m leaning towards Chicago (-1) to cover the spread.
