Cleveland Indians vs Chicago White Sox: BRIEF Preview & Prediction – 5/13/19

I only have time for a quick one today as it is my dad’s birthday and we’re mobbing out to dinner to celebrate the man’s 61st trip around the sun. So big shoutout to him – a true role model to me.

Let’s talk baseball, and briefly because I have a nice Mexican dinner calling my name here shortly.

Moneyline – CLE -155, CWS +135

Runline – CLE -1.5 (-105), CWS +1.5 (-115)

O/U – 8.5 (O -120, U Ev)

First Pitch – 7:10 CST, Guaranteed Rate Field, Chicago, Illinois

The Sox and the Tribe split their 4-game series at Progressive Field last week. The Sox are coming in winners of two straight while Cleveland losing two of three to the A’s. The White Sox hit Shane Bieber pretty good last time, collecting 8 knocks and putting up 3 runs on him. As for Reynaldo Lopez, he had a similar outing, giving up 3 runs on 9 hits. The problem with the Indians the last series was they had zero timely hitting. So tip of the cap to the Sox pitching staff for holding this underperforming offense down.

I’m saying we run with the Indians in this one, guys. Cleveland has owned the Sox over the last two years and Shane Bieber has a 1.42 ERA over 19 career innings vs our Southsiders.

Trent’s White Sox Free Pick Record

6-7-1 (-0.11 Units). A $100 bettor would be down $11 this season.
