Analysis & Best Bet

It’s a wet one downtown tonight and I’m just hoping we get the game in at this point. Carlos Rodon toes the rubber for the Sox after giving up his first runs of the season last time out against the Indians. A.J. Hinch will counter with Casey Mize and he hasn’t been phenomenal this year. Over his last two starts, he’s given up 11 earned runs over 9.2 innings and that’s pumped his ERA up to 5.23.

I’m taking the White Sox money line (-195) for three units tonight! Last night was a brutal outing from our beloved White Sox. It seemed like they left a million (9) people on base and they couldn’t muster up more than two runs despite the Tigers going for five errors. Anyways, I’m not going to get into it too much because it’s already late and I am heading to the game, but the White Sox are going to win tonight. Rodon looks like a new man out there and Mize hasn’t been exceptional to start the new campaign. Take the Southsiders to get it done tonight and look for Rodon to punch out a lot of guys considering the Tigers are dead last in strikeouts as a team in the league (28.7%). Plus, the weather is shitty right now so I feel like that will play into the pitchers’ hands.
