Baltimore’s now lost 12 straight games and haven’t won a game in 13+ days. Their last win came two Sundays ago when they bested the Yankees 10-6. As for the White Sox, they’re heating up a bit and looking to sweep the O’s out of Chicago. I’m going to get right into the final analysis on this one and lock in a bet! Happy Sunday Funday, let’s cash a ticket and stay hot. We’ve won four straight on the diamond.
Final Analysis & Best Bet
It’ll be second-year man Keegan Akin going for Baltimore in the finale. He’s a lefty who is 0-0 on the season and has made four appearances on the year equating to 10.1 innings. The Orioles have lost all four of the games he’s appeared in. Akin’s filling in for Dean Kremer and this will be his first start of the campaign. Talk about a tall task. He’ll be opposed by Lucas Giolito who has picked up wins in consecutive starts. Last time out he went 6.0 innings and allowed just one earned run while punching out five against the Red Birds of St. Louis.
You know the drill here. Fade the lefty and take the White Sox to win this one (-207) for three units. Chicago’s the best hitting team in the league against LHP with a wOBA of .359 and BABIP of .339. Do I really even need to say much more? The Orioles haven’t won a game in two weeks and the Southsiders are heating up. Good luck and let’s stay hot. Break out the brooms.
