The first game of the ESPN doubleheader will feature the Warriors visiting the Dallas Mavericks. On paper, this game looked like a good one but with the injuries to the Golden State roster, this game would not normally be on ESPN. The Warriors are coming off a win last night in Memphis while the Mavs are on the 3rd game of a 4 game homestand.
Line: Warriors (+700); Mavericks (-1300)
Spread: Warriors +14 (-110); Mavericks -14 (-110)

Tipoff: 6:30pm CT; American Airlines Arena; Dallas, TX
Golden State Warriors
The Warriors are 3-12 and are all but toast for this season. They come into tonight on the second end of a back to back which featured a rout of the Memphis Grizzlies which ended their 7-game losing streak. Draymond Green had been running the point with D’Angelo Russell out, but he was awful. Alec Burks has been playing well as of late and with this battered roster that the Dubs are rolling out, look for him to have another 20+ point game. The Warriors are averaging about 109ppg which, with the way the NBA is shifting, seems low. They were able to put up 114 so hopefully for them, they were able to find their groove.
The Mavericks come into this game with an 8-5 record and are commandeered by the young superstar Luka Doncic. Luka leads the NBA in triple doubles this season with 5 and the Mavericks will try to improve their record against a lowly Warriors team. Luka leads the team in scoring as he is notching just under 30ppg and as a team, the Mavs are averaging 114.1ppg. The duo of the 20-year-old Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis has looked well but they will need to seek more production from other guys on the team.
Analysis and Prediction
The easy bet here would be to take the Mavericks money line but that really has no value. Doncic has been on a tear as of late and the Mavericks have looked great. The Warriors, even with a decimated roster, look like they are functioning on the offensive end. My pick here is going to be the over of 217.5 points. I think both Draymond Green and Luke Doncic have big games with Luke notching his 6th triple double of the season.
