Happy Sunday Funday, my friends. I’ll be at the game this afternoon so slide into my DM’s if you want to meet up and grab a cold one at the stadium. And since I’ll be in attendance, of course I’m laying some cash on the game. Here’s what I’m thinking for this matinee A.L. Central matchup:

Final Analysis & Best Bet

Brady Singer has yet to face the Southsiders this season but he did face them twice in back to back starts during his rookie campaign in 2020. He threw 10.2 innings over those two starts and allowed eight earned runs while striking out nine Sox hitters. As for Dylan Cease, he squared off against the Royals back on April 11th of this season. It was a 4.2 inning, 90 pitch outing in which he only allowed a single earned run and fanned six.

I’m going to put down a few different best bets for this one. For starters, I’m taking Tim Anderson to have at least three hits, runs, and RBI’s at +104 for two units. Tim’s 4-6 with a double and an RBI against the young righty in his career. He’s primed to have a nice day at the office and in a game that the Sox would really like to have, I think he shows up. And I’ll take the White Sox money line (-151) for two units. The last three times I’ve backed the White Sox, they’ve lost. Yep, that’s true. Chicago’s 7-3 in their last ten games and the three times I’ve laid my cash on ‘em, they’ve lost. But I like them to get to Singer enough this afternoon to take care of business. Dylan Cease has been great to start the season and he has decent head-to-head stats against the Royals. He’s limited them to a slash line of .201/363/.257 over 55 AB’s.

Trent’s MLB Betting Record

2021 MLB Season: 19-18 (-3.73 units). A $100 bettor is down $373.05 this MLB szn.
