Analysis and Best Bet
The Bulls are back in action as they face the Orlando Magic at home. Chicago is riding a three game losing streak while the Magic have a six game losing streak. Both teams are in ruts, but the difference is the Bulls still have a chance at the play-in tournament. Chicago lost to Minnesota, the worst team in the league, but they have a chance to redeem themselves against another bad team with the 17-37 Magic.
Ex-Bull Otto Porter Jr. will be out for tomorrow’s game. Mo Bamba and Chuma Okeke are also questionable for Orlando. Bulls G Garrett Temple is questionable as well with a nagging hamstring injury. Nikola Vucevic and Wendell Carter Jr. will each be facing their former teams after the blockbuster trade deadline deal. Vooch has been great with the Bulls while Carter Jr. has a great opportunity in Orlando.
The Bulls are in desperate need for a win. Orlando is the team to do it against. Keep on eye on young guards Cole Anthony and R.J. Hampton for Orlando. They got good energy coming off the bench. Orlando won’t put up big numbers offensively (104 PPG) but Chicago’s defense allows 113 PPG. Both defenses aren’t great. Even though the Magic aren’t a team that put up big offensive numbers, the Bulls defense can allow a bad team to put up a lot of points. I’m taking the over on 221 points for a matchup between two bad defenses with good offensive potential.
