Analysis and Best Bets
After losing a tough one to the Brooklyn Nets, the 29-40 Chicago Bulls still have a chance at the play-in with a Wizards loss last night. The schedule gives them a break as they face the banged up 27-42 Toronto Raptors. Toronto are losers of four straight and are 2-8 in their last 10 games. This is the third and final regular season meeting between the two teams with the Bulls winning two so far.
Some of it is injury but there are also a lot of players being rested by Toronto. Here’s who’s out tonight for Toronto: Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, Chris Boucher, OG Anunoby, Aron Baynes, and Paul Watson. I couldn’t even tell you who the Raptors have tonight. That explains a lot about the betting lines. For Chicago, both Troy Brown Jr. and Daniel Theis are listed as questionable.
I’m not going to dive deep into the stats on this one since the Bulls should have the upper-hand. If they can’t win this game, they never deserved a shot at the play-in. I’m rolling with the Bulls money line for a unit at -455. Usually the Bulls are never big favorites, but with the circumstances, they should be.
To have some more fun, I’m adding in two Bulls prop bets as well. Here they are:
- OVER 3.5 AST for Nikola Vucevic (-165). Vooch has averaged 4.5 AST in his last 10 games.
- OVER 6.5 PTS for Patrick Williams (-121). This should be easy money.
